Today is the grand opening of a new brewery in Bismarck as well as another beer and burger joint.
Jon Schaeffer shows you where to go around town for a fresh brew.
After months of preparation and renovation-- JL beers is open for a burger and beer.
It has 40 beers on tap-- fresh made potato chips and fries to pair with that burger
It is located at 217 North 3rd Street downtown and are open from 11 am to midnight.
The business has been busy-- but the managers say people are enjoying JL beers.
(Nate Wolf/Regional Manager) " So far the response has been great a lot of positive stuff everybody's been happy and we're happy to be open it's been a long time coming and we're happy to be part of the downtown community the neighboring businesses have been great dropping off flowers and very happy to be part of the downtown community."
Just blocks away at 107 5th St. Laughing sun Brewery opens its doors today at 4.
Laughing sun offers fresh brewed beer and catered food from Lucky Ducks--including beer battered fish and chips.
The Brewery will have 3 to 6 beers on tap at a time
This has been a three year process for owner Mike Frohlich-- but he says this is a rewarding experience.
