Sarah Gustin Wins Oscar in Agriculture

Posted:

And the Oscar goes to....Sarah Gustin.

KX News is proud to report Sarah Gustin has been awarded the "Oscar in Agriculture" by the National Association of Farm Broadcasters.

The NAFB says the award represents the highest level of professional excellence at a national level for a broadcaster's on-air work.

Sarah won for a story she submitted on the Farm Bill while she was in Washington, D.C. this year.

The award represents the highest honor given for broadcasting excellence on an individual agricultural issue.

The award is given out at the NAFB convention each year.

Sarah's Uncle Al Gustin was also honored as the Farm Broadcaster of the year. Al is retiring at the end of the month following forth-five years in broadcasting.
