Some schools didn't have class Monday because of the Veterans Day holiday, so instead of going to school, many are enjoying the snow.

In Bismarck dozens of kids are spending their day off, sliding down the Tom O' Leary hill.

For some it's a little cold outside, but that isn't stopping them from lacing up their boots and grabbing the sleds.

"Oh yeah I like winter, snowboarding and sledding, it's cold but that's all, it's nicer today."

In Bismarck, around nine inches of snow fell over the weekend.
