Unisys Official Confirms a Few Layoffs in Bismarck

Posted:

An official with Unisys confirms there have been layoffs at the Bismarck office.

Jim Kerr is Vice President of Global Public relations and Regional communications.

He says there have been a few recent layoffs, but fewer than ten in Bismarck in 2012.

Kerr says it's a part of a normal process of "cost efficiency improvements."

Kerr says about 160 people work at the Bismarck office, and that there are a handful of open positions in Bismarck.

He also says no further layoffs are planned for the rest of the year.
