Today's required canvass of the ballots from last Tuesday had the potential to impact a race for a seat on the county board.
In the race for three open seats, Alan Walter and Incumbent Jack Nybakken took the top two spots.
But the race for the third and final seat had Shelly Weppler just 74 votes in front of Jim Lee.
After today's review of the ballots - including the addition of some absentee ballots received after election day - Weppler's lead had increased to 81 votes.
The county auditor says that's not a small-enough margin to trigger an automatic recount in the race.
