Runway Show Held In Bismarck

Posted:

Thursday night a runway show is held in Bismarck.

Cheri Esper owns CE Designs and Yarn Shoppe in Downtown Bismarck, now she also has her own boutique.

Tonight 11 models modeled more than 100 of Esper's items, including handbags, scarves, ponchos even dresses all made of yarn.

Hundreds and hundreds of hours are put into making these items.

Esper says they are truly works of art.

"So it's just a great girls night out, it's never been done in Bismarck I don't think there's ever been a designer living in Bismarck who's had a runway show, there's so many knitter's and crochers in Bismarck and we all inspire and feed off of each other so I thought that'd be fun also," Cheri Esper said.

Esper hosted tonight's event to let people know that her shoppe doesn't just carry yarn but also many fashion items.
