It's hard to imagine it's only been a month since a fire burned the town of Bucyrus.
Already cleanup has been made on a number of lots, all thanks to generous volunteers and a lot of man hours.
"Right now we have four lots cleaned up, all leveled off, everything is picked up, we have one lot left to cleanup," Mayor Jim Schaf said.
Mayor Jim Schaf says it's unfortunate to look at all the property damaged in the fire, luckily for him his house wasn't touched.
"My house is standing and theirs are not, and that's a bad deal, I mean I feel privileged but then again I don't, I don't know how we lucked out and they didn't.," Schaf said
The concern Schaf has right now is if residents will come back, he hopes families will decide to rebuild in Bucyrus.
