Turkey Drive

Posted: Updated:

A challenge that started among Minot Trinity employees has taken off to now include the public.

The challenge is to raise enough money to buy 100 turkeys to donate for this years Horn of Plenty project.

Trinity has launched a two-week campaign in the hopes that it will take flight in time for the holidays.

Trinity has pledged to provide 100 turkeys for Minot's Horn of Plenty project-- a project that reaches out to families in need during the Christmas season.

Each turkey is about fifteen dollars and will help top off the charity's food and toy baskets that are given out to the families in need....and so far.. the donations have been steadily coming in.

(Randy Schwan, Vice President of Administration, Trinity Health) "We are really excited about doing that and we think that the people in those families facing a shortage of food, especially during the holiday season it is a tough time for many people, and we want to make it a little bit easier.">

Donations are being accepted at any Trinity gift shop until located at Trinity Hospital, Trinity St. Joseph's and Trinity Homes until December 6th.
