Snowman Destroyed in Explosion

Bismarck responded to an unusual call last night, of a snowman being blown up.

It happened at 7:20 on the 1000 block of north 9th Street.

A woman called police saying she heard a loud explosion and saw her neighbor's snowman destroyed.

Officers found the remains of a sparkler and tape in the yard.

Authorities say a white suburban was seen driving by at the time of the explosion.
