Today being the last day of November, Hope Village wrapped up the 50-K in 30 Days campaign.
Hope Village surpassed the fifty-thousand-dollar goal - raising $129 thousand in the month of November.
The money will be divided to help efforts at Recovery Warehouse, Un-met Needs and Hope Village.
The 50-K in 30 Days campaign began as a challenge from Ken Busek.
Busek donated the proceeds from the sale of a piece of property and challenged others to match the donation.
The Minot Area Community Foundation answered the call and presented a check to Hope Village today for the matching $50,000.
Private donations through the month have brought the grand total to $129 thousand to continue flood recovery work through Hope Village.
Paul Krueger, Hope Village) "We're excited to put that to the very best use to serve the people of Minot and to help people begin again with their new lives."
Between the Rebuilding Fund and the Recovery Fund, the Minot Area Community Foundation has reinvested more than $5.7 million back into the community through individual reimbursements and flood recovery projects.
