A judge today considered what jurors in a murder trial in Minot might hear once the case begins.

Northwest District Judge Doug Mattson is presiding over the case against Omar Kalmio.

Kalmio is charged with four counts of murder in the deaths of 19-year-old Sabrina Zephier, 38-year-old Jolene Zephier, 13-year-old Dillon Zephier, and 22-year-old Jeremy Longie in Minot nearly two years ago.

Today, Judge Mattson ordered the hearing on evidence questions to be closed to the public.

A jury trial in the case is scheduled to begin in January.
