Young Author

Posted: Updated:

15-year-olds are known to spend their time hanging out with friends, playing video games, and doing homework.

But one local teen found the time to write a book.

Caleb Hoverson, is home-schooled and lives in Burlington.

His book called "God Calls Us to....an A -- Z Devotional" has been published and is now available.

Caleb and his grandmother came up with the idea in 2010, and worked together on the project.

His devotional book has been selling, and is even being used by some church classes.

The book sells for 12 dollars, and is available at Gideon's Trumpet, Main Street books, and Home Sweet Home.

<<Caleb Hoverson, Author, "I have been surprised at the success, at first I thought maybe friends and family would like it, but my Dad encouraged me to publish it, and I have been quite surprised>>

Caleb will be signing books this Saturday from 1-3 at Gideon's Trumpet in Dakota Square Mall.
