Rescue crews were called to the scene this afternoon when a utility truck crashed into a home in Southwest Minot.
The driver was traveling West on 37th avenue behind Walmart and crossed two lanes of traffic crashing into the back of a home located in Dakota Park South. The driver was immediately rushed to Trinity and no one was harmed inside the home. The Minot Police officer on scene said the cause of the crash is unclear at this time.
Minot Police Department officer Sgt. Black says there have been around a dozen minor accidents reported in Minot since 8 a.m. He says sand trucks are out, but drivers should be aware of roads becoming more slippery as the snow becomes compacted on the roads into the evening.
