Mandan Man Arrested for Pushing Girlfriend out of Moving Vehicle

A 41-year-old Mandan man is arrested for domestic assault and reckless endangerment after pushing his girlfriend out of a moving pickup.

Mandan police got the call around 8:40 last night near Stage Stop. They found the woman who was treated for a cut on her elbow. The man had driven away.

The woman says she was arguing with her boyfriend and wanted to call police.

She says he took her phone and threw it on the floor.

When she bent to pick it up, he allegedly pushed her out of the truck She says she thinks they were going about 30 mph.

Police continued to look for her boyfriend. They found him about 1:20 this morning,

Authorities were called to a residence for another domestic disturbance.

They found the man there and arrested him on charges from the earlier incident.

Police found no signs of domestic abuse at the second home.
