Dave St. Peter Speaks In Bismarck

Posted:

A Bismarck native makes a stop in his hometown Thursday night.

Dave St. Peter is the president of the Minnesota Twins.

He's worked with the Twins for the past two decades, and became president of the Major League Team in 2009.

Tonight he talks with Young Professionals at Bismarck State College about his career.

"A guy who grew up in Bismarck pretty normal family, had a passion for sports, had an opportunity to pursue his dream to work in sports, it's a story that designates with some people and I feel like I have the responsibility to share it," Dave St. Paul said.

Those who came out to listen to St. Peter have great respect for the man, and say it's nice to hear how someone from THEIR hometown can become so successful.

"Him being a Bismarck native, I mean how cool is that, you can say someone from Bismarck runs the Twins organization, so it's pretty neat," Jeffrey Squire said.

St. Peter is a graduate of Saint Mary's High School and the University of North Dakota.
