Three men were injured when a pickup slammed into a tanker truck along Highway Two west of Ross yesterday.
The crash set the tanker and the pickup truck ablaze and shut down traffic on the busy highway for a while Wednesday morning.
The Highway Patrol reports 34-year-old Terry Zaske of Rapid City was driving the tanker semi on Highway Two when he pulled into the median to make a turn.
The back end of his truck was sticking out into the highway and 20-year-old Jacob Cameron of Williston couldn't see it in foggy conditions.
Cameron's truck hit the tanker, setting both vehicles on fire.
Both drivers and a passenger in the pickup - 30-year-old Brandon Welch of Williston - were injured and taken to the hospital in Stanley.
There's no report on their condition.
