St. Baldrick's Foundation Recognizes Basin Electric

Basin Electric is recognized for helping kids with cancer.

Since 2008 Basin Electric has raised more than 3/4 of a million dollars for the St. Baldricks Foundation.

In the past 5 years, nearly 900 people have shaved their head for the cause.

Today the St.Baldricks Foundation thanks the co-op for their generosity.

(Heather Kash / St.Baldrick's Foundation) "Childhood cancer kills more children in the U.S. than all other diseases combined. yet, child cancer only receives 4% of the national cancer institute budget. The reports from most of the other cancer charities are similar, a very, very small amount goes to help our kids. Which makes the efforts that you guys make here so much more important than you may even realize.

Basin's next head shaving event here in Bismarck will be on March 15th.
