Airline boardings at the Minot International Airport jumped 36 percent in November of this year compared to a year earlier.
That increase was much higher than the state average of a 16 percent increase.
More than 18-thousand people boarded flights pushing the year-to-date number above 200-thousand for the first time ever.
Frontier Airlines began service between Minot and Denver on the 5th of November adding even more available seats out of the Magic City.
That 200-thousand plus number is 52 percent higher than 2011.
Statewide numbers were up as well for November.
Williston saw a jump of 87 percent -- and it also appears for the first time ever, the state will surpass one million boardings.
Through the first 11 months of the year, 935 thousand people left the state through the air on commercial flights.
