Recovery Warehouse has provided building supplies to a large amount of homes in the Mouse River valley over the last year and a half...
In fact, earlier this year, a milestone was reached.
They surpassed 100 homes that have been helped -- and just kept on going.
Fundraising has been strong lately for Recovery Warehouse that is actually located west of Burlington on Highway 2.
Just this week they passed one million dollars in fundraising...and they plan on staying open for at least another 10 months as the task of building back homes -- and lives -- continues in the valley.
(Mary Barker - Recovery Warehouse) "We passed our 100th home, we are currently at about 130 homes that have been helped. Most were helped with the sheetrock module. We provide insulation through sheetrock finishing..."
That help has been expanded even more recently to include finishing products as well like flooring thanks to generous donations from Catholic Charities and the Community Foundation in Minot.
