Last Minute Shopping

Posted: Updated:

Good evening and a very Merry Christmas Eve to you all...I'm Jennifer Thorgramson.
Many families and friends are no doubt gathering together all around the region for a celebration over the next few days -- celebrations that have been ready to go for weeks right?

Well...maybe not!
Shoppers had one final day to take care of the commercialized part of the holiday -- stores were open bright and early today to give folks time to get last minute gifts purchased and wrapped up for the tree.
Dakota Square Mall opened its doors at 7am...and while it was pretty slow going, there were a few souls getting shopping wrapped up early in the day.
You might not be surprised to hear who is actually out shopping on the 24th...those men seem to leave things for the last minute, right?!?

(Ariel Ben Baruch - Mall Vendor) "You know the guys...waiting for the last moment and running around looking for something to buy.  People here today will be in and out very fast.  We close at five today, probably like...we will probably see mostly guys here today."

Most everything is now closed for the season...as he said the mall shut its doors at five today closing up another Christmas shopping season.
