Nickel Charged with Ingesting a Controlled Substance

A Mandan man sentenced for dealing synthetic drugs has been charged with another drug crime.

William Nickel is charged with Ingesting a Controlled Substance.

According to a criminal complaint, Nickel tested positive for using methamphetamine.

He admitted to smoking meth on December 16th.

There is now a warrant for Nickel's arrest.

Nickel is the co-owner of Big Willies in Mandan.

He was sentenced to one year in prison in October for conspiracy to

However, he was put on probation and his prison sentence was put on hold until the Supreme Court hears his appeal in the case.

Part of his probation order was to not use any drugs, legal or not.
