Inside the Den 12-26

Posted: Updated:

The Bismarck Bobcats sit in second place in the Central Division with a 16-12-2 record.

The season makes a turn to the last 30 games of the season-- and coach Layne Sedevie says his young team needs to be a little more consistent down the stretch.

The Bismarck Bobcats notched a big 5 to 2 victory on Saturday against Coulee Region-- but they didn't really get their legs under them until the 2nd period was underway-- they'll play the Chill again for a 2 game series this weekend-- as cats look to stay hot.

It's been a back and forth first half for the cats-- one that hasn't seen any win streaks bigger then 3.

Last week the team acquired Stanislav dzahkov to help out their offense-- and Sedevie says the kid will solidify those top 6.

Along with getting some help offensively-- the team will finally get some home games under their belt. They only played in front of the home crowd 13 games in the first 30 now they'll get 17 with 4 straight starting saturday.

The team has ground to make up on Austin-- but is hot as they've won 4 of their last 5 and look to continue that this weekend.
