BHS Heads to Stadstad

Posted: Updated:

The Bismarck High Boys hockey team is 4 and 3 as they head up to the Grand Forks Tournament.

While they are above five-hundred coach Mike Peluso says it's been a slow start for his boys.

The team will face a tough challenge in game one as they play one of Minnesota top team's-- the East Grand Forks Green Wave who have yet to lose a game.

But Peluso says this weekend can help his team really gain some confidence.

"Well our backs are against the wall obviously we're playing one of the best teams in Minnesota to open up- up in grand forks. It'll be a good test for our guys and they're gonna learn the quick hurry that you gotta play as 20 guys and not one so it's a sink or swim kind of format for us but I think it'll be good. It seems like every year that we've gone up there it's kind of the same story where we start slow then they come back from this tournament and really learn a lot and realize we gotta work a little harder and hopefully that'll be the same case this year
