How would you feel starting the new year 45-thousand dollars richer?
Someone in the North Dakota State Texas Hold 'em Championship will know the feeling this New Years Day.

The 9th annual tournament is underway at the Vegas Hotel.
It started last night with the free roll.
This year's Texas Hold'em tournament has grown in attendance, participation and national recognition to the point that event planners are expecting over 15-hundred players.
Last year's Texas Hold 'em champion Jeremy Keiller is back and ready to try play the odds once again.
Keiller won the 42,500 dollar grand prize last year and used it to start his own business in Minot that helped rebuild flooded homes in the valley.

(Jeremy Keiller, Last Years Tournament Winner) "I started a business with it. I remodeled about four homes in Minot North Dakota, flooded homes. It did go back to the community and I was just happy to help out."
