At Least Two Workers Injured After Trailer Ignites

Posted: Updated:

Emergency responders have been dispatched to an area near Beach after a semi truck back trailer ignited near a well disposal site.

According to Mike Schneider, a Dept. of Emergency Services Coordinator, there have been two or three burn injuries, workers who were on site and have since been taken by ambulance to Dickinson.

Other responders are staying around a half mile away while the trailer burns--because the area is dangerous with other flammable substances nearby.

Schneider says they will be on site all night.

They are waiting for the trailer to burn out on its own.

Responders have set up a perimeter to keep people away from the site.
