New Years's Baby

Posted: Updated:

Shortly after ringing in the new year... one couple celebrated the birth of their first born child and Minot's New Year Baby of 2013.
Allana Dicken was born at 12:09 AM to happy parents Mindy and David Dicken.
She weighed seven pounds nine ounces at birth and was 19 in-a-half inches long.
Between the flood and David being across seas in England at that time, the past two years haven't been easy for the couple... but they are finally together.. under one roof... with something a little extra special to celebrate the New Year.
(Mindy and David Dicken, Parents of first Minot baby of 2013) "We were just happy she was healthy. We never thought we'd have the first one of the year but I guess nobody does. This is kind of a mark as a new beginning."
The last baby born in 2012 which was River Mercer-a son born to Cliff and Chrystyna Mercer of Stanley.
