Bismarck Girl says Man Approached her for Sex Acts

Posted:

A 15-year-old Bismarck girl says a man tried to solicit her for sex.

The incident happened Sunday afternoon around 4:20 on the 300 block of south third street.

The girl told police she was walking home from work when the stranger approached her and introduced himself.

She says he asked if they could "hang out" and if he could give her a ride home.

The girl told police that she was fearful so she got into his car.

She says the man told her he was traveling from Minot and is in the oil industry.

The girl says the man asked her what she would be willing to do for money. He showed her a large amount of cash.

She told him she wasn't interested. He let her out of the care a few blocks from her home. Bismarck police say the man did not threaten her or physically touch her.

The girls mother reported the incident to police last night.

The suspect is described a 6'0" with a slender build and short hair. He had no facial hair or glasses.

The car is a blue/gray sedan with Florida plates.

Contact Bismarck police at 223-1212 with any information you may have on the case.
