A 50-year-old Bismarck woman faces multiple charges stemming from a weekend incident.
Mechelle Kemmet is charged with five crimes including theft of property, illegal use of a credit card, and possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and meth.
Bismarck police say Kemmet and another woman used a stolen credit card at Kum & Go Sunday night.
After they left, one of the women called the store back and said they had lost the card.
The employee recognized the name on the card as that of a friend. She called her friend who told her that her purse had been stolen that day at Lucky's.
Bismarck police were able to track down Kemmet and the other woman during a traffic stop.
The other woman was not arrested.
Kemmet made her initial appearance in court this afternoon.
