Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park is working to map out a new master plan.
Tonight a public input meeting is held in Mandan to gather ideas from those who use the State Park.
The new master plan will guide the development of the park for the next 5 to 20 years.
Hearing input from those who use everything from the campgrounds, to the hiking trails is beneficial to park management.
"We have a really diverse group all with a lot of interest in the state park, so getting their comments, what they feel they need and what works for them is what we need as the developers and managers of Fort Abraham Lincoln," Jesse Hanson with North Dakota State Parks said.
