Bike Tour Buzz, a startup devoted to helping travelers find active bike trips, has announced an enhancement to its global cycling tour review engine.

Bike Tour Buzz, an independent resource that provides reviews, recommendations and other resources on cycling vacations, has announced enhancements to its bike tour user review engine.

"The bike tour industry needs a way to capture the feedback, both positive and negative of its clients," said Bike Tour Buzz Founder Ted Chan, "The BTB review site is providing bicycling vacation travelers a place to praise great vendors, and vent about those that don't meet the standard. We are getting some great feedback from travelers on their global cycling tours."

The bike tour company user reviews section now has the contact information for more than 450 global operators. Users can rate companies on food, accommodations, bike quality, customer service, and quality of the guides. Company reviews can be sorted by overall rank, country, and typical price point.    

"As an avid rider myself, I have had great bike tours and some active adventures that were disappointing. We want to be the TripAdvisor of global cycling vacations, and bring transparency to the cycling vacation market, and reward those who provide the best customer service," said Chan.

Bike Tour Buzz provides recommendations for where to go on a country by country basis, as well as tips for the most popular bike tour regions, such as Tuscany, Burgundy, and Bordeaux. In addition, the site provides all sorts of guidance to riders on how to get the most out of a cycling vacation, such as training tips, packing guides, and travel guidance.
