Oil Rig Accident Injures Two

Two people were injured in an explosion and fire at an oil well northwest of Williston this afternoon.

The Williston Herald reports one person suffered burns while the other had a broken leg as a result of the incident.

The State Division of Oil and Gas reports the well is operated by "G-3 Operating" and was drilled beginning September 29th.

The well is located about a mile north of Blacktail Lake, which is about nine miles west of Highway 85 north of Williston.
