One man was killed and another was injured in an oilfield accident Saturday afternoon.

According to the McKenzie County Sheriffs Department, at approximately 3:24, 49-year-old Michael A Krajewski of Duluth Minnesota was killed and 55-year-old Brad Hong of Halliday, North Dakota was injured in the accident.

Officials say it happened at a Halliburton fracking location 24 miles north of Watford City.

The incident remains under investigation.
