United Way Ending Fund Drive

Posted: Updated:

The Souris Valley United Way is closing in on it's goal of raising 675-thousand dollars for the 2012 year, but still needs your help.

The Souris Valley United Way has raised upwards of 593-thousand dollars--- reaching 87 percent of its overall goal.

Donations towards the 2012 campaign can be made until the end of this month... but that doesnt necessarily mean you need to have your check written by then.

The United Way will also accept pledges--- meaning if you would like to pledge a certain amount of money... you have until the end of December of this year to pay it.

(Jarid Lundeen, 2012 Campaign Chair, Souris Valley United Way) "The United Way is the one vehicle that helps out a lot of the non-profits in our area. So it is the easiest way to give. Also it is the greatest impact. We go through analyze and make sure the money is being put to good use and so it is the best check you'll write all year long."

Donations and pledges can be made one of two ways... by calling the Souris Valley United Way at 839-2994 or by visiting the website at S-V-United-Way.Com
