Parents Attend Final Public Forum On School Boundaries

Posted:

Tonight parents get their final chance to voice their concerns over the Bismarck Public Schools Proposed Boundaries.

Hundreds came out to Horizon Middle School to meet with boundary committee members.

One parent we spoke with is worried about her son who has special needs.

She says moving her son to a different school might impact his learning.

"We just moved here last spring, specifically because of our son's education, we just have some concerns about kids with special needs if they have to change schools it can really set them back academically and socially," Nancy Johnson said.

The School Board is expected to make a final decision on the boundaries at Monday's board meeting.
