Fargo Jet Center -- is expanding and adding another branch...this time on the western part of the state. Williston Jet Center will offer aircraft fueling, aircraft maintenance, flight instruction, aircraft charter management and aircraft sales at Sloulin Field International Airport. Plans call for a 64-hundred square foot facility to be built next to the main terminal this summer. Private air business is booming with everything else in the Bakken, and this expansion will add competition for Western Edge Aviation, which already operates at the Williston airport.

On North Hill, ASK Fitness is wrapping up work on another renovation project giving the fitness facility a new look...and also adding some new features.

Craig Kraft with ASK says the massive amount of square footage they have to work with here gives them some flexibility...and this was a good time to make the upgrades as memberships at ASK continue to grow.

(Craig Kraft - ASK Fitness) "This is the second year in a row in December that we have done a large renovation of the fitness center, tanning facilities, daycare we added, an aerobics rooms, and some new equipment."

The daycare services are new and for parents who are working out -- another convenience. He says as the city grows, it is appearing more and more that ASK is in the right location for further growth as well.

(Craig Kraft - ASK Fitness) "The fitness industry keeps growing and Minot keeps growing. We want to keep up with that. There are supposed to be three to four thousand new homes up on north hill in the next few years so we want to try and get ahead of that and get as many memberships as we can."

With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
