Rural Mouse River Flood Concerns

While engineers have been working on the timetable and cost of flood control for the city of Minot, they've also been developing plans for projects to protect other areas where the Mouse River runs through North Dakota.

Tonight, engineers and officials from the State Water Commission are hosting a public meeting in Velva to talk about dealing with high water years in that area.

Jim Olson is live at the school in Velva where tonight's meeting is being held.
