Alec Rauhauser's Goal Makes Sports Center

    The video of Alec Rauhauser's backhanded goal has been more than just the talk of the town.
    It's become big time national news, the KX Sports video is viral on the Internet, and even made to Sports Center's Top 10 Plays for yesterday.

Alec Rauhauser-Century SR. F/D: Pretty cool feeling to be on ESPN.

Troy Olson-Century Head Coach: At the time I was wrapped up in the game but now you can step back and look at it and you see basically its gone viral and you see it on Sports Center and things, and it kind of shows you how special it is to do it in a pressure situation just adds to it.

Alec Rauhauser-Century SR. F/D: there's been a lot of good goals scored in hockey its right up there I think its a pretty special goal.

Troy Olson-Century Head Coach: Wow, that was off the charts and its something you don't see every day.

Alec Rauhauser-Century SR. F/D: kids at my school just say wow, I saw your goal that's pretty sick, and I've just had a lot of people on Twitter and all that just saying congratulations on making Sports Center, Top Ten.

Troy Olson-Century Head Coach: Support has been pretty cool, kids in class they look at it and they say coach, Alec's the number two hit on You Tube for kids named Alec, so stuff that like is crazy to see.

Alec Rauhauser-Century SR. F/D: usually its a big rivalry and we don't really like each other but a lot of BHS kids have congratulated me on the goal also.

Troy Olson-Century Head Coach: Its a tough situation having that happen against them but you can tell that they're friends from way back and its neat to see that. I gotta give Malkmus some props, he tweeted something about how he gets to be the goalie who's scored on on top ten.So they're embracing it too and kind of having fun with it.

Alec Rauhauser-Century SR. F/D: I watched the move the night before and didn't really expect doing it in the game but I was back there and nobody was pressuring me so I just decided right then, I didn't plan it before the game or anything.

Troy Olson-Century Head Coach: I've tried it and I've got a long ways to go, I could do some of the things but certainly, nothing like that.

Alec Rauhauser-Century SR. F/D: I don't think I'll try that again for a while.

    Century is next in action, tomorrow night, on the road at Bottineau Rugby.
    A win and Century wins the West, and is the top team going into the WDA tournament next weekend.
