Dickinson airport officials announce this week, two new airlines coming to the airport.
Monday United Airlines announced it will be adding two round trips daily between Dickinson and Denver.
Today, Delta Airlines announces two round trips daily between Dickinson and Minneapolis starting on June 10th.
"The Minneapolis route is something that the community has been looking forward to, the Minneapolis route has never been run between Dickinson and Minneapolis, so I'm very happy about that, that we now have an eastern hub to go to and I'm confident the community will embrace the service," Dickinson Airport Manager Matthew Remynse said.
Dickinson has seen a large increase in the number of passengers in the last few years.
These new airlines will force the airport to expand their terminal in the next five months, before the new airlines arrive in Dickinson.
