A New PATH

Posted: Updated:

A local business that has provided homes for children in North Dakota for close to 19 years now has a new home of its own.

Previously located across from the North Dakota State Fair Grounds, PATH North Dakota has now moved to a new and larger location on North Hill and celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning.

PATH has provided foster care and family based services for children and families throughout the state of North Dakota since 1994.

After being flooded in 2011, the center decided that rebuilding was the best option and the North Hill location was close to area partners the center works with, such as County Social Services.

The new location provides a comfy and welcoming atmosphere where families and children can meet and utilize the center's services.

(Dale Twedt, Executive Director, PATH North Dakota) "We wanted to show people that we were really committed to being here and being a part of the community and this is really been a nice place to build and to begin solidifying our services more."

PATH is now located at 1425 21st Avenue Northwest.
