New Leaders for Music Camp

Posted: Updated:

The International Music Camp will have two directors as of this summer.

Music Camp officials announced this week that a husband and wife team will take over leadership of the camp.

Christine and Tim Baumann are longtime staff members at the International Music Camp.

They will leave their current positions at the International Christian School of Hong Kong and join IMC in July.

The Music Camp is under the interim direction of Joe Alme - who is filling in after the resignation of Tim Wollenstein.

Alme - who was director of IMC for 23 years - says the Baumanns will be a great team to lead the camp into the future.

(Joe Alme, International Music Camp) "They're just two wonderful people, really positive and good musicians, very knowledgeable. They're in Hong Kong on a special teaching experience and we were able to get them back."

The 58th season of International Music Camp will begin this spring.

The Music Camp is located on the grounds of the International Peace Garden, on the border between the US and Canada north of Dunseith.
