An accident on a slippery highway injured three people and shut down morning rush-hour traffic for a while today.
The accident happened just south of the Minot Air Force Base a little after seven this morning.
The Highway Patrol reports a car going about 60 miles per hour came upon a slow moving truck and couldn't stop, plowing into the truck.
The accident brought north-bound traffic to a crawl on a road that's choked with cars and trucks at that time of day.
At least three people suffered injuries in the accident and were taken to the hospital.
Firefighters were also called to the scene of the accident to deal with a fuel spill.
