Valentine's Day melodies are filling the air around Minot.

The Dakota Blend Quartet is traveling to homes and businesses around town, spreading love through song.

Matter of fact, the group stopped in at KX News Morning today to serenade Amber Wheeler for the special day.

(Terry Geisen, Dakota Blend Quartet) "We get some tears, a lot of tears, some nervous laughter, we get a little fist-shake - we sang for a guy and he was pretty upset about it because all his buddies were behind doing exactly what he's doing to me. So it's a lot of fun, we see a lot of tears though."

The Dakota Blend Quartet donates some of the proceeds from today's Valentine's Day serenades to the American Heart Association.
