Broadway Centre Moving Along In Downtown Bismarck

Posted:

If you drive through downtown Bismarck it's hard to miss the new three story building going up at the intersection of Mandan Street and Broadway Avenue.

It's the perfect kind of development the downtowners association has been waiting for, a place where businesses can expand and Bismarck residents can eat and sleep.

"I think it will be very significant in increasing the activity of downtown," Stephen Pine said.

Stephen Pine and his wife Carla are the owners behind this new building downtown.

The Broadway Centre is a project the downtowners association says will likely bring more services and housing to downtown Bismarck.

"I think the timing is right, I mean Fargo, Grand Forks have always been growing, the middle part of the state has been a little bit slow to bounce back, but now with the growth in the western side of the state we're seeing an influx of new people coming into the Bismarck area," Pine said.

The building will include a bar and grill.

"That space behind you will be a banquet party room attached to the restaurant," Pine said.

Commercial space and 17 luxury condos.

"With the financial wealth that's being created on the western side of the state I think we're going to see a lot of interest from folks that want to get out of the countryside and now can afford to do it and move to the city," Pine said.

These luxury condos will live up to their name, owners of the condos will enjoy everything from underground heated parking, to outdoor heated balconies, and much more.

"Every bedroom has it's own granite shower, the master bedroom also has a Jacuzzi tub," Pine said.

If you want to enjoy those luxuries or move your business to the Broadway Centre, Pine says there are some perks for those looking to buy.

"This is in the Renaissance zone so you do have the opportunity if you move your business in here and it's your primary location for your business there are tax incentives, if you're a condo owner you can get a five year property tax exemption," Pine said.

Tax breaks to move your business or yourself downtown.

There's plenty of room to buy at the Broadway Centre.

No condo's have been sold yet.
