Senator Hoeven Speaks on Keystone Pipeline Progress

Posted:

A project that has been delayed for 4 1/2 years makes progress to make it's away across the country.

Senator John Hoeven is working on passing the Keystone Pipeline through Washington D.C.
The Keystone Pipeline would move oil from Canada and America to refineries.
Hoeven says every state on the route has approved the project and it's now back in front of the President for a decision.

(Senator John Hoeven / ND (R) ) "I hope he approves it but if he doesn't I have legislation and strong bipartisan majority. I already have 53 senators that have signed a letter, saying they support the project and we are going to push to get it approved through Congress if the President doesn't approve it."

Hoeven says a recent poll shows almost 70% of Americans approve the project.
