Bismarck Church Holds Nascar-Themed Service

Posted: Updated:

A local church is celebrating the start of NASCAR season with a unique message.

Capital Christian Center holds a NASCAR-themed service--- In It to Win It.

Sunday's service shares what Pastor Dan Kent refers to as "the NASCAR parable."

The modern-day parable uses racing flags to share a biblical message.

"Some people have the image of church that it's boring and no fun. So, whenever we can tie into something like this and make it fun... fun learning the bible...fun learning our walk of faith... we just love to do it," says Pastor Dan Kent.

The church also hosts an annual "Jeans and Jersey" service every Superbowl Sunday.

Pastor Kent says everyone is welcome to come and worship.
