36th Annual Home Show

Posted: Updated:

The North Dakota housing industry is booming.

And whether you are looking to buy a home or decorate your existing home, a local event has a lot to offer.

Birds of every feather flock to the Civic Center this weekend for the 36th Annual Home Show.

Four hundred vendors set-up booths, showcasing everything from plumbing services to custom glasswork.

Northern Plains Plumbing, Heating, and Air has the latest in bathroom fixtures on display.

And their latest item is something to SING about.

The Kohler Moxie Showerhead is a showerhead and wireless speaker all-in-one.

And it's not just for the bathroom.

The Bluetooth-enabled speaker is easily removed and can be used all over your home.

"Everyone thinks they're really cool. It's new technology. It uses Bluetooth through your iPad or iPhone. Everyone definitely stops and takes a look at it," says Julie Drader of Northern Plains Plumbing Heating and Air.

One realtor we spoke with says it's a good time to buy or sell right now.

And adding simple upgrades--such as a fresh coat of paint--can really affect the value of your home.
