The Bobcats had a tough two games last weekend-- only grabbing One point from Austin.
With only a month left of the regular season-- Bismarck looks to buckle down with some help from a new acquisition.
A 4 to 3 shootout loss on Friday followed by a walloping Saturday to the tune of 8 to 3 have head coach Layne Sedevie looking to put the weekend behind them.
(Layne Sedevie) "We deserved better on Friday you know we give up a goal with 2:30 in the third. Thought we played very well on Friday. Nothing to hang our head about on that one. We got a point but thought we should have had two points and Saturday is Saturday wanna forget about it and move on."
Matt Pohlkamp-- a recent addition from the Fargo Force -- has stabilized things inside the Bobcats top two lines.
(Layne Sedevie) "You know I think matty has been a nice addition for us. He brings nice size speed can shoot it he can make plays so you know he's a big addition for us moving forward obviously into playoffs and for that stretch run."
(Matt Pohlkamp) "It's actually been really nice, a lot easier then I thought it would be. When you first get released you get kind of scared you don't know what's going on or where you're going but the transition was really nice and easy. The guys are really awesome here and I fit in pretty good."
The 5-11 Forward has already committed to Bowling Green for next season-- with the Cats has three goals in six games-- production many new comers would be happy with.
(Layne Sedevie) "I think it's a big thing for us to have him and solidify our top six. I think if you ask him he could probably have ten goals but he's been a little bit snake bitten at times."
(Matt Pohlkamp) "I'll be honest I'm not happy with that. I thought I'd have a little more but I can just keep working hard and just keep going and see what happens."
