Hundreds of fans from across the state have been streaming into Minot for the beginning of the 2013 State
Class "B" boys basketball tournament at the MSU Dome.
8 Class "B" teams representing 8 regions of the state are in town.
In North Dakota, fans love Class "B".
In a small town, if the basketball team earns a spot in the state tournament, a good chunk of the town tends to follow.
That means the atmosphere at the MSU Dome is charged with excitement, and the fans are making plenty of noise.
Fans: this is a dream, we have dreamt about this for our son, and we can wait to see us play.
It is just a fun experience for the whole community. The boys have worked so hard for some many years. This is a great experience for them
Opening round games continue tonight. Semi-finals are tomorrow, and the championship Saturday.
