Several new inches of snow made for hazardous driving today throughout the region.
The Highway 83 bypass west of Minot was closed earlier today for a while when a crane jack-knifed and slid off the road.
Fortunately the truck came to rest on the west side of the road, allowing the road to be reopened after the truck was secured and removed.
The lucky part of this situation is that the truck did not slide down the hill where it would have crashed into several homes.
The North Dakota Highway patrol is investigating the accident.
