Suspicious Person Reported Near Centennial Elementary

A suspicious person is reported hiding in trees near Centennial Elementary.

Bismarck police say the school principal called Friday to report the incident.

The suspect fled on foot after being approached by the playground supervisor around 12:30pm.

The supervisor says the person jumped a chain link fence after leaving the Outdoor Wildlife Learning Sight in the northwest part of the playground.

Children playing soccer noticed the person and alerted officials.

The suspect is described as wearing a red ski mask with all black clothing and being slender in build.
